The Choir ministers to the people in praise, worship and special songs in all church meetings and services.

As the choir leads the congregation into high praises of God and ultimately His presence, God Himself comes down with His blessings

- Psalm 22:3.

The Choir uses the instrumentality of music to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Communion Stewards

 The Communion Stewards are specially selected sound and spirit-filled Church workers.

They take care of the preparation of Holy Communion for the Church during our Communion Services.


Decoration Unit

The Decoration Unit is comprised of highly talented individuals who use their God given talents to work towards the beautification of the Church auditorium and environment.

Their duty is ensuring that the house of God is as beautiful as the house of the Great King should be.


Evangelism Unit

 "... Go ye therefore, into all the world and make disciples of all nations...." Matthew 28:19 

The Evangelism Unit exists to carry out the objectives listed below and of which you can become involved.

Preaching and teaching the word of God with the utilization of tracts to win souls in the community.

Visiting hospitals to pray for the sick and administer salvation to them.

Engage in strategic personal ministrations and evangelism to have a one-on-one opportunity to share the good news of Christ with people outside and use it to invite them to Church.

Organizing occasional Mass Evangelism for the Church.

Occasional workshops on personal Evangelism and discipleship.

Follow-up on souls won in the street outreaches.

The great commission mandate is versatile and cannot be fully enumerated, however the vision unfolds as the spirit of God commands and leads us in the unit.


Follow-Up & Counseling Unit

The Follow Up and Counseling Team assist the first timers and new converts by giving information about the Church and our meetings, helping them know that they are appreciated and most welcome. They keep the "back door" firmly shut - making sure that those who have decided to join the Winners' family don't slip out through the back door for lack of information or visitation.

They agree with our First Timers and New Converts in prayers on burning issues of their lives. They counsel and, if need be, recommend for further counseling with the Pastors.

They also recommend other activities such as Believers Foundation Class and Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) to further strengthen their faith.


Gilead Medical Unit

The Gilead Medical Unit is a body of qualified medical professionals - Medical Doctors, Nurses, Lab Technicians, Pharmacists, etc.

Their duty is to ensure that there are professional health personnel on ground during services and other events to take care of any emergency health challenges that may arise in the course of any service or programme.

The Unit also provide periodic health care services and free drugs to members through specialized programmes.



  Members of this department are God fearing, heavenly minded individuals, who create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the church services. The team exists to extend hospitable ministry to the members & friends of Winners Chapel Calgary, as well as to visitors and the surrounding Calgary Community. 


Joel Company (Drama Unit)


The Joel Company is the Drama arm of the Church.

The main business of the Joel Company is the painting of pictures out of the scriptures through drama. Major Church programmes and events such as WOFBI, Shiloh, Evangelism etc. are dramatized to motivate members to participate to the fullest.


Protocol Unit

The Protocol Unit conducts routine protocol duties within the Church premises during services and meetings. They control the entrance to the main sanctuary and the Pastor's office.

The Unit provides information and organize counseling schedules with the Pastors, on service days. They identify visiting ministers, VIPs, church guests etc. and attend to them appropriately, compiling and inviting guests in special programmes.

They procure and process travel documents for guests and make transportation and accommodation arrangements for guests, logistics and other formalities during special meetings.


Sanctuary Unit


The Sanctuary Unit of the Church ensures that the main sanctuary, church offices, and the general surrounding of the place of worship are kept clean and orderly at all times.

They also ensure that our social facilities such as the toilets are clean, presentable and necessary facilities are available at all times.


Security Unit


Security and safety of all is paramount to the operations of the department. The security of persons and goods is of great importance amidst the growing number of worshipers.

Thus the Security Unit...

  • Maintains law and order in the ever growing congregation.
  • Ensures that members parked cars are secure during church services.
  • As much as possible, they ensure that any compromise of general security and safety of members is swiftly dealt with.


Ushering Unit & Crowd Control Unit


The Ushering Unit welcomes worshippers and directs them to their respective seats, assists in whatever capacity to ensure that they are comfortable and that their needs are met during the service e.g. directions to the toilet, assistance to nursing mothers etc.

They help maintain order during meetings and services, removes or minimizes distractions such as crying babies or ringing mobile phones during service.

The Ushers coordinate the flow/direction of people during ministrations and specialized services. They liaise with other departments in inter related activities.

 The Crowd Control Unit (CCU) is charged with the duty of ensuring that there is orderliness in movement of Church worshipers. They coordinate the flow/direction of people.

This is to avoid stampede and confusion during Church services and other programs. 


Traffic Unit


The Traffic Unit coordinates and controls car parking within and outside the church premises to ensure conformity with road and traffic regulations.

They also ensures safety by observing and controlling traffic so as to enhance the safety of our commuting members.


Transport Unit


The Transport Unit comprizes of drivers, transporters etc.

Their major duty is the transportation of Church worshippers from different locations within the town to Church, befoer the start of service, and taking them back after each service.

They also assist in organizing for vehicles that will take members to any outside event or programme, as the need arises.
